She earned her M.S. in Geographic Information Science and B.A. in Geography from the University of Denver. Her research modeled land use change in South Africa, using remote sensing and web-based dashboards to visualize deforestation and settlement growth. Liliana applies geospatial tools to advance community engagement, climate adaptation, and equitable environmental management.
