About Dr. Ryan Rhadigan

Dr. Ryan Rhadigan is an Assistant Professor of Native American and Indigenous Studies at Fort Lewis College. His mixed methods of teaching and research examine how Native American rhetorical engagements with scientific discourses and settler-colonial legal regimes structure the politics of the present. Specifically, Ryan investigates how land-based epistemologies, language, and archival practices, can affirm Indigenous self-determination and shape Indigenous communities’ collective efforts to transform and democratize academic research.
