Spaces, Locations, and Imagined Places
The Gallery at ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ welcomes artists Annie Brooks, Holly Hagan, Chyako Hashimoto, Tim Kapustka, Lorna Meaden, Ted Moore, and Gilmore Scott.
Spaces, Places, and Imagined Locations showcases work by seven artists from Durango and the Four Corners region, exploring diverse interpretations of physical form, place, memory, imagination, and natural environment.
Through various media, the artists engage with physical and emotional aspects of human experience, drawing on spirituality, tradition, nostalgia, play, and process.
This exhibition invites viewers to consider how we perceive and imagine our surroundings, and how culture, memory, and personal narratives shape our sense of place.
Through thought-provoking and visually engaging works, the artists encourage a deeper understanding of how we locate ourselves in the world.
The gallery, located inside the Arts and Design Building, is open Monday-Thursday 10am to 4 pm.
