Ellie Simpson Student Well-Being Case Manager Skyhawk Station 232 970-247-6180 ecsimpson@fortlewis.edu ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓÆµ Alumni Ellie, a dedicated advocate for student well-being, brings a wealth of experience supporting young people with diverse needs, from elementary to college levels. Originally from Truckee, California, she earned an Associate's degree in Social & Behavioral Sciences before graduating from Fort Lewis College with a Bachelor's in Psychology. Ellie's expertise spans various educational stages, where she has a deep understanding of how physical and mental challenges can impact academic success. She is passionate about empowering students to thrive personally and academically, recognizing the strong link between the two. In her work at ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓÆµ, she manages ‘Person of Concern’ reports which involves direct outreach, facilitating warm hand-offs to essential campus and local resources, and coordinating potential Behavior Team interventions for students facing well-being, behavioral, or basic needs challenges. Additionally, she contributes to academic success by coordinating the Academic Care team, which responds to Course Alerts to connect students with academic resources. Outside of her work, Ellie enjoys immersing herself in nature through hiking and water activities, and expresses her creativity through drawing and painting.
