About Abby Kerr

Abby Kerr is a dancer and educator from Edmond, Oklahoma. There, she studied ballet through the Vaganova method at The Academy of Ballet and Theatre Arts. Abby holds a B.A. in Dance from Colorado State University, where she trained and performed under Judy Bejarano, Chung-Fu Chang, Susie Garifi, Madeline Harvey, Emily Morgan, Lisa Morgan, and Joy Prendergast. After her graduation, Abby danced with Perpetual Motion Dance Company in Oklahoma City, Wildwood Dance Project in Durango, and currently is a company dancer at Dandelion Dance Collective and Carved Dance Company. Additionally, Abby has been featured in works by choreographers Suzy DiSanto, Cassidy Faulhaber, Veronica Lazar, and Julianna Zastrocky. She has been a choreographer and dancer in the Oklahoma Contemporary Dance Festival in 2023 and 2024. Abby has had the opportunity to train with Ground Grooves, a floorwork contemporary company based in Los Angeles. While teaching at Fort Lewis College, Abby is also a dance teacher at Prickly Pear Dance in Durango, Colorado.
