The triple threat of the Musical Theatre Major
Musical Theatre is an art form that trains a performer to be an actor, singer, and dancer. Our Musical Theatre program features an industry-focused curriculum while maintaining the freedom and flexibility of a Bachelor of Arts program. You will receive private voice lessons, progressive dance classes, and specialized musical theatre techniques classes such as Vocal Styles & Repertoire, Acting the Song, and Professional Preparation.
An audition is required for admission to the Musical Theatre program. Auditions take place each spring, with scholarships announced immediately following. Prospective students must be admitted to ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ before auditioning. Any student may participate in our Major for a Day program prior to auditioning.
Saturday, March 28 | 10–11am | Black Box, Theatre Hall
Schedule or submit your audition
Video auditions must be received one week prior to the on-campus audition date.
All prospective students who are admitted to ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ and audition will be considered for a scholarship. Scholarship decisions are based on video and/or in-person auditions. Applicants will be notified of scholarship offers at the time of acceptance via email.
