As Associate Provost of Faculty Affairs and Student Success, Dawn provides strategic leadership to elevate student engagement, foster retention, and empower faculty development. She oversees key academic support systems, including the Center for Teaching and Learning, Undergraduate Research, the Accessibility Resource Center, and the Academic Care Team.
Dawn collaborates with campus leadership to resolve student and faculty concerns. She also works with enrollment management and student support services to improve advising and academic policies. She represents the Provost’s Office on the Behavioral Intervention Team.
Dawn has been a professor in the Anthropology Department since 2005. She is a biological anthropologist with expertise in forensic anthropology, bioarchaeology of the Southwest, skeletal biology, paleopathology, and repatriation.
