Since joining TRIO Upward Bound, Aaron has been an indispensable member of the team.  His dedication towards his students and his willingness to go above and beyond does not go unnoticed.  This program, community, and college are very lucky to have Aaron working alongside them.

Annika is a force to be reckoned with in the Admission Office. She works incredibly hard, from taking care of students with complex situations to managing systems like ZeeMee, while always showing up for others with incredible kindness. Annika is great at forging meaningful relationships with prospective students and helping them start their college journeys!

Officer Austin Gordon went above the call by working with the Admission Office on the last-minute Governor's Holiday on December 23.  We had scheduled campus tours on that date that we could not cancel.  Because campus was closed, all the academic buildings were locked.  Officer Gordon worked with us to make sure our tours could still happen but coordinating unlocking doors as the tours went around campus.

Brandon is an incredible member of the Admission team. He shows up with a dedication and passion for ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ that really shines through as he connects with prospective students. With his caring and collaborative approach, he creates an inviting space for everyone in the Admission Office.

Fiona's dedication to TRIO and the students in the greater Durango community is unwavering.  She continues to go out of her way to support her students and make the TRIO Upward Bound program better.  Her creativity and interest in improving continue to drive the team forward.

Gustie has made a tremendous impact during her time at ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ, especially in the past few weeks. She consistently provides exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and our colleagues across campus. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to work alongside such a supportive, reliable, and truly wonderful teammate. Her creation of a clear, thoughtful library of Registrar’s Office wikis has been incredibly valuable for our team. Gustie’s expertise, care, and high‑quality work have been truly appreciated.

We had an issue in a suite in Snyder. Jaxsen, Jackie, Joey, Raine, and Zach were instrumental in addressing the issue and the teamwork and quick thinking allowed us to address the issue quickly for the student, who was very appreciative. Thank you, Jaxsen and all the RAs, involved for doing an amazing job!!!

I am so grateful to Jenny for dropping everything and assisting me with a student in SHS who needed immediate medical attention. I loved seeing how she interacted with him, leading with care, knowledge, and a little bit of humor as well. Thank you!! :)

Jordan displayed great care during a critical moment when his residents needed him most. He took action to ensure the safety of his hall, and is an outstanding RA, ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ athlete, and community member!

Thanks to Kellin for helping Advancement build out a new support site. We're still in progress but it is already so much better. He is patient and helpful and has great ideas. He even went out of his way to make little icons for our service items. It's been a fun process, and I think all of our users will really appreciate the new and improved advancement support center!

Kim always knows that my parking pass situation is weird and remembers that despite the hundreds of passes that go out every semester! Thank you to Kim, for your attention to detail and high level of care.

After a month of issues with the login for our project management system, Michael and Curt worked with our vendor to get it back up and running, just before the Spring Term. We are so excited to be back up and running. Thanks!

Steve exhibited patience, empathy, and commitment to supporting a student who was struggling in their classes. Over several months, he proactively communicated with faculty in multiple departments and created a safe space for the student to share their experience, consider possible solutions, and find a path forward.
