Shoutouts

On Wednesday the 4th, Pat and I were helped by Mick Stowers and Greg Wallace. They both helped us turn multiple days of running back and forth with heavy and delicate cargo into a few short hours. Greg was wonderful to work with, helpful as could be when loading and unloading TVs, podiums, and scrap metals. He provided extra tarps to cover what we couldn't when it began to trickle rain, likely saving some of the podiums. Both he and Mike were a joy to work with!

Greg Wallace really put in a lot of effort this week, helping CATS move equipment around campus for 4 hours on Wednesday. He was friendly and had a great attitude, even when it started sprinkling. We really appreciate all the help.

Greg Yucha oversaw the sewer line replacement project adjacent to the theatre building. I was eager to stay aware of the project's process because Durango PlayFest guests were arriving around the time the project was due to wrap up. Greg was always friendly, and his communication was excellent.   The job was finished well before our deadline! Thank you to Greg and his entire team!

John Akins always does an incredible job keeping the biodept floors clean and shiny. He just cleaned the carpets in several offices and the student study rooms, and they look fantastic! We truly appreciate how much care and pride he takes in his work—we can be a really messy bunch! Thank you, thank you, thank you for all that you do for all of us!

John Lynch has helped me countless times with all my workday and purchasing questions. Even with questions I should know the answer to, he is kind and patient. I so appreciate him!

John Yezbak shows up every day with a go-get ‘em attitude. He is the only RD who has a full RA staff year-round and is also the main planner for the RA trainings that happen at the beginning of each semester. During others' slow season, John is still in full gear. His constant and consistent hard work is appreciated!

Jordan delivered prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable customer service on some somewhat complex system and user questions I had today at the Counseling Center. He was patient in answering my questions as I learned something new about backing up data, making sure I understood what I needed to before moving on to the next part of the explanation. He was also responsive in his approach to a different issue, where I already had a fair amount of understanding, and he worked collaboratively with me to plan the next steps for each department to move toward resolution. Thank you, Jordan!

Both Mick and Greg were absolutely outstanding! Both helped Pat and me move heavy TVs, podiums, and scrap metal. They helped us turn multiple days of running things back and forth in the golf cart into a few short hours! My thanks go out to Mike for everything he did to help us. It's wonderful knowing that he's here to help!

Mick Stowers helps the CATS teams quite a bit, but in this case, he worked through lunch for 4 hours, moving our large, heavy items around campus. He is always friendly and has a great attitude. We really appreciate the help.

Trish submitted a great safety hazard observation, which was then corrected immediately. Thank you very much, Trish, and keep up the wonderful work!

Tyler has always helped me with even the silliest purchasing questions. He is always kind when I ask things I should know how to do. So thankful!
