Samantha Luck is a dynamic soprano originally from the scenic town of Somesville on Mount Desert Island, Maine. Drawn to the stage from an early age, she has built a vibrant performance career known for its passion and versatility.
Recent credits include Queenie in The Wild Party, Phoebe in A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Betty in The Great American Trailer Park Musical, and Lorraine in Jersey Boys, all with Thingamajig Theatre Company. Other roles include Sarah Brown (Guys and Dolls), Emma Carew (Jekyll and Hyde), Jo (Little Women), Cosette (Les Misérables), and ensemble/Alice Murphy understudy in Bright Star.
Samantha holds degrees in Theatre and Music from SUNY Fredonia, where she studied with Distinguished Professor Julie Newell. She currently trains with critically acclaimed performer Judy McLane.
In addition to performing, Samantha is a passionate vocal instructor and musical theatre educator. She has coached students for Broadway, college, and community theatre auditions, led summer camps, and helped grow thriving theatre programs. Samantha put a strong emphasis on vocal technique, artistic expression, and personal growth. She aims to foster a collaborative, safe, and supportive environment where students can explore their creativity, build confidence, and develop essential communication and performance skills applicable to various aspects of life.
