Ms. Misha S. Zimmerman is the Executive Director of Local Theater Company (LTC) in Boulder, Colorado, a non-profit dedicated to the development and production of new plays. She has played a central role in the development of over 50 new plays since 2017 and is passionate about bringing fresh voices and stories to the stage.
A graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder, Misha holds a BA in Theater and Literature with a focus on Stage Management. Her career spans across Colorado, with Stage Management credits at Curious Theatre Company, Durango Play Fest, The Aurora Fox, Opera Steamboat, Cherry Creek Theatre, and more. At LTC, her Stage Management credits include Acts of Faith, Discount Ghost Stories: Songs from the Rockies, Paper Cut, Wisdom from Everything, and Pop the Holidays, in addition to numerous staged readings for the company’s annual new play festival, Local Lab.
As a theater professional and educator, Misha is committed to creating spaces where bold storytelling and collaborative processes thrive. In the classroom, she brings real-world experience, a deep love of theater management, and a strong belief that theater is a living, evolving conversation that students are a vital part of.
