Cloud VPN Setup

How to setup the cloud OpenVPN client.

The Information Technology department is deploying an upgraded cloud-based VPN to replace our current on-premise connection.  Some quick and easy setup is required to update your OpenVPN client to the latest version. With the updated VPN client, you can continue to access Fort Lewis College resources that you currently use with the old VPN. Our primary purpose of providing this upgraded VPN to you is to protect you with more security when you are accessing your ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ resources off campus, by utilizing Microsoft Multi Factor Authentication.  Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) will be enabled for all faculty and staff on 10/17/22. OpenVPN will require your MFA verification upon your first login of each day. If you have already opted in to MFA, you will be prompted to verify with the same method options you use for your ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ Microsoft account. If you have not yet opted in to Multi Factor, you will simply log in to the VPN through CAS.
