Finish your bachelor’s at ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ. You’ll find attentive professors, small classes, a culture that prizes experiential learning, and opportunities to work on research projects that are typically only available to graduate students.
If you've already earned a bachelor's degree from another institution, you will apply as a post-baccalaureate transfer student.
You must have a cumulative college-level GPA of 2.4 on a 4-point scale from a regionally accredited institution. You're expected to complete remedial coursework before enrollment at ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ and be ready for college-level math and English courses.
It takes 15-20 minutes to complete your admission application and continue your bachelor's degree journey.
A non-refundable $40 application fee is required to process your application.
You can pay your application fee with a bank debit or credit card online with your application. You can also submit your application without payment and send a check from a United States bank or a bank money order in United States currency payable to “Fort Lewis College.” If you choose to send a check, please be sure your full name and date of birth are included on it.
You can request a fee waiver if you have extreme financial need. Select "yes" on the admission application when asked if you want to request a fee waiver due to financial hardship.
Send official transcripts from all colleges and universities you've attended as a part of your application. Institutions must send official college/university transcripts by mail or electronic submission to admission@fortlewis.edu or Fort Lewis College Admissions, 1000 Rim Drive, Durango, CO 81301.

If you are 23 or older or have been out of high school for five years, you may be required to submit Accuplacer scores to determine your math and comp placement. In most cases, students who have earned an Associate degree (AA or AS) from institutions other than public Colorado institutions will go through the normal course-by-course evaluation of credits. However, there is a list of institutions outside of Colorado for which a blanket exception has been made. All Liberal Arts Core requirements will be waived for transfer students who earned an AA or AS from one of the institutions on that list.
You can transfer from a two-year school to ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ through our Bridge to Bachelor's Degree program. We'll connect you with an ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ advisor when you start at your community college to support you throughout the process.
College Connect provides a direct path from earning an associate degree at San Juan College to completing your bachelor’s degree at ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ.
You might be eligible to get your associate degree while you work on you bachelor's through the Colorado Reverse Transfer program. Opting in to this program is easy, and there's no impact on your current academic standing or financial aid to do it, either.
