On the second Monday in October, Fort Lewis College will celebrate not Christopher Columbus, but those residents who were already at home in the so-called New World when the Genoan explorer, sailing under the Spanish flag, stumbled ashore in 1492.

Imagine leaving your consistent full-time job to jump on a tour bus with a rock band for the first time. You’re suddenly sharing 400 square feet with 10 other people, working 15 hours per day, and waking up in a new city every morning. And you’re figuring out this new existence on the fly. And it’s your dream come true.

This partnership will open doors for 泡芙短视频 students, particularly minority students, to collaborate in cutting edge research while preparing them to make the move to graduate school or a career.

Since the spill, organizations across the Four Corners, including Fort Lewis College, have been stepping up efforts to study and monitor the Animas and other area water sources. 

The dedication ceremony will be held at 12 p.m. at the Community Concert Hall.

Computer engineers create the future. By bridging electrical engineering and computer science, computer engineers develop software that integrates with complex devices like robots, remote sensors, self-driving vehicles, rovers, probes, drones, spacecraft, and even the smartphones in everyone’s pockets.

The new funding, which will be awarded at $350,000 per year over the next five years, will support retention and graduation in the STEM disciplines.

On August 3rd, 2016, Fort Lewis College and community partners collaborated with John Foley, former lead solo pilot of the famous U.S. Navy flight demonstration squadron, the Blue Angels, to put on a leadership presentation.
