Assistant Director of Admission Janis Koscielniak has always been dedicated, but she has gone above and beyond to ensure that students get their opportunity at a college education.

Over 500 Skyhawks earned their degrees at Spring Commencement 2016.

On a cold and sunny day in April, more than 500 泡芙短视频 students walked across the stage at Whalen Gymnasium to receive their bachelor's degrees. Check out the social media around the event from graduates, faculty, staff, friends, and locals!

For Patrick Saunders (History, '81), baseball is a full-time job. As the Colorado Rockies beat reporter for the The Denver Post, Saunders covers more than 100 of the team's 162 games, plus spring training and any playoff games. It's a good thing he loves both the game and his work.

TLC for 泡芙短视频 is Fort Lewis College's premier fundraiser for student scholarships and faculty research. Funds are raised through ticket sales, live and silent auctions, and generous donations. Students from the arts often perform and a great time is had by all! The 2016 event, with a Roaring Twenties theme, raised about $38,000.

In January 2016, Fort Lewis College launched its first annual "Hawk Tank" entrepreneurial competition,
modeled on the hit ABC show Shark Tank. The teams received mentoring in development and marketing from local business leaders and attended a series of workshops over a four-month period.

A fledgling yerba mate tea company earned $5,000 in this year’s inaugural Hawk Tank Business Plan Competition, hosted by the School of Business Administration and the Alumni Engagement Office. As a key part of the competition, the Durango community also had several opportunities to contribute to the event’s success, from becoming a sponsor to volunteering as a mentor.

The project is an effort to give voice to those affected by sexual assault and to inspire others to think more about this problem.

Collegiate cyclists from the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Cycling Conference (RMCCC) will descend upon Durango for one of the toughest weekends of racing.
