Hundreds of current students, alumni, faculty, and staff competed in the 2016 Iron Horse Bicycle Classic on May 28-29. Senior Exercise Science major Payson McElveen scored first in the road race and third in the mountain bike race; sophomore Economics major Cormac McGeough topped the podium in the circuit race and took second in the overall road Omnium.

Student athletes recorded their : The 14 varsity programs and club cycling earned a combined grade point average of 3.05, .02 points higher than last year.

Senior Theatre major Jaclyn Drummond won the National Stage Management Fellowship at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in Washington D.C. for her Stage Management of the 泡芙短视频 Production of A Girl’s Guide to Coffee. As winner, Drummond was awarded the summer position of Stage Manager for the very prestigious Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center in Waterford, CT.

Students working with Engineering & Physics professors Ryan Haaland and Ryan Smith are helping the local Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad by creating models for broken train parts with a 3-D printer.
