Alumna Rebecca Benally

Rebecca Benally (Physical Education, '90), the first Native American woman in the country to serve as a County Commissioner, will be awarded the at the annual commencement ceremony of the Utah State University - Eastern Blanding campus.

Paul Booth

Fulbright Scholars

Clausen $600K grant

Rebecca Clausen, associate professor and chair of the Sociology Department, is part of a team awarded a $600,000 grant by the Agnese Nelms Haury Program at the University of Arizona. They'll be investigating the effects of last year's Gold King Mine toxic spill on the Navajo community.
