On May 5, the last concert in the well-regarded Unitarian Universalist Recital Series ended 15 years of high-quality chamber music under the guidance of Marilyn Garst, series founder. Over the years, Garst has invited professional musicians from all over the region, from Santa Fe to Salt Lake City, and most of the Music faculty at ܽƵ.

Katie Fankhouser, a junior studying Business Administration, won the 1,500-meter track race at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference championships in Chadron, Nebraska. In doing so, Fankhouser clinched the team’s first-ever individual title.
