President Thomas welcomes new students at Fall Convocation

On Friday, August 30, 2013, more than 1,100 new freshmen and transfer students, along with their friends and family, packed Whalen Gym at Fort Lewis College for Fall Convocation. Convocation marks the official end of New Student Orientation and the beginning of the school year.

New school year begins with Fall Convocation

Fall Convocation, the official kick off of the new school year at Fort Lewis College, will take place on Friday, August 30 at 4 p.m. in Whalen Gym. ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓÆµ President Dene Thomas will give the Convocation Address.
