Celebrate Family Weekend at Fort Lewis College

Make memories in the mountains during Family Weekend at ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ, part of our spirited Homecoming week! Whether you're a parent, sibling, grandparent, or supporter, we’re rolling out the welcome mat with a weekend full of campus traditions, events, and time to connect with your Skyhawk.

Events kick off Friday, October 17 and continue through Sunday, October 19, so start planning your visit now.

Want to attend sporting events as part of Family Weekend?

Get free entry by following the steps below:

  1. Go to the .
  2. Scroll to the game you’d like to attend.
  3. Click the “GET TICKETS” button.
  4. Select the General Admission ticket option (please note: preferred seating is not covered by the Family Weekend promotion).
  5. At checkout, enter the code ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵFAM25 to receive one free ticket per purchase.
  6. After submitting your information, you’ll receive an email with your ticket(s). Tickets will be scanned at the gate upon entry.

  • Family Welcome Dinner | 5:30 p.m. | Location TBD
    • Join Fort Lewis College families and supporters for a free on-campus welcome dinner and a brief presentation.
  • Volleyball Game – ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ Skyhawks vs. Colorado School of Mines | 6:00 p.m.

  • Family Hike | 7:45 a.m. | $15/participant
    • Join us for a scenic 2-mile hike to a beautiful waterfall as we explore a local trail. No prior hiking experience is required. The route includes uneven terrain with both uphill and downhill sections on a dirt and rock trail.
    • Meet at the trailhead at 7:45 a.m. (location details provided upon registration). The hike ends before 10:00 a.m. so participants can return for campus events.

  • Homecoming Tailgate | 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
    • Join the whole ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ campus community at the Homecoming Football Game tailgate! Visit the Family Weekend table to get a free meal ticket for families and supporters redeemable at the food trucks on site – limit 2 tickets per ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ student.
  • Football Game – ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ Skyhawks vs. Chadron State College | 12:00 p.m.
