Make memories in the mountains during Family Weekend at ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ, part of our spirited Homecoming week! Whether you're a parent, sibling, grandparent, or supporter, we’re rolling out the welcome mat with a weekend full of campus traditions, events, and time to connect with your Skyhawk.

Events kick off Friday, October 17, and continue through Sunday, October 19, so start planning your visit now.

Want to attend sporting events as part of Family Weekend?

Get free entry by following the steps below:

  1. Go to the .
  2. Scroll to the game you’d like to attend.
  3. Click the “GET TICKETS” button.
  4. Select the General Admission ticket option (please note: preferred seating is not covered by the Family Weekend promotion).
  5. At checkout, enter the code ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵFAM25 to receive one free General Admission ticket. The code is valid for one ticket per order, so please order tickets individually to take advantage of the offer.
  6. After submitting your information, you’ll receive an email with your ticket(s). Tickets will be scanned at the gate upon entry.

  • Campus Tour | 4 – 5:30 pm | Meeting location upon registration
    • We are offering two campus tours, one in English and one in Spanish. Each tour is limited to 30 participants, so don't wait to sign up!
  • Family Welcome Dinner | 5 - 7:30 pm | San Juan Dining Hall
    • Families and supporters are invited to a free, come-and-go welcome dinner on campus.
  • Volleyball Game – ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ Skyhawks vs. Colorado School of Mines | 6:00 pm | Whalen Gymnasium

  • Family Hike | 7:45 am – 10 am | $15/participant | This program is full, but you can join the waitlist
    • Join us for a scenic 2-mile hike to a beautiful waterfall as we explore a local trail. No prior hiking experience is required. The route includes uneven terrain with both uphill and downhill sections on a dirt and rock trail.
    • Meet at the trailhead at 7:45 am (location details provided upon registration). The hike ends before 10:00 am so that participants can return in time for campus events.
      • Family Hike Registration is ! This popular event sells out quickly every year, so be sure to secure your spot early. Registration includes a Fort Lewis College Outdoor Pursuits water bottle.
  • Homecoming Tailgate | 10:00 am – 12:00 pm | Ray Dennison Memorial Field
    • Join the whole ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ campus community at the Homecoming Football Game tailgate! Visit the Family Weekend table to get a free meal ticket for families and supporters, redeemable at the on-site food trucks—limit two tickets per ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ student.

  • Football Game – ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ Skyhawks vs. Chadron State College | 12:00 pm | Ray Dennison Memorial Field
