Located in the Student Union, room 35, the GSRC is a welcoming and safe space for LGBTQIA+ students, faculty, staff, and allies. You can find educational and support services, resources for advocacy, and referral programs.
The community members who power the GSRC collaborate with others to celebrate, advocate, and educate about issues related to gender and sexual identity. The Center is also a collaborative space for ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ’s Gender & Sexuality Studies program and the Sexuality and Gender Alliance (SAGA).
Fort Lewis College stands strong in our commitment to empowering students to use the bathroom that most closely aligns with their gender identity. In an effort to support our ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ community, we have expanded the number of gender-inclusive restrooms available across campus.
The Queer Closet is a free, anonymous resource for ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ students who are transitioning or experimenting with gender expression. Housed in The G (Reed Library 86), our Queer Closet includes items like chest binders, makeup, clothing, gender affirming items, and more! .
