Spring Awakening is a rock musical with music by Duncan Sheik and a book and lyrics by Steven Sater. It is based on the German play Spring Awakening (1891) by Frank Wedekind. Set in late 19th-century Germany, the musical tells the story of teenagers discovering the inner and outer tumult of teenage sexuality. In the musical, alternative rock is employed as part of the folk-infused rock score.

Each October, Student Union Productions teams up with the Residence Hall Association to create the scariest place on campus: a haunted house called Nightmare on Rim Drive. Watch as 4CornersTV correspondent Laura West braves the experience.

Playwright & Fort Lewis College alumnus Eric Coble (English, '90) returned to campus in October to teach a series of workshops held in the Department of Theatre. Eric's Broadway play The Velocity of Autumn was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2015, and its star, Estelle Parsons, received a Tony Nomination for Best Actress in a Play. Playwright Eric Coble has hit the big time. His play “Velocity of Autumn” premiered on Broadway in 2014, and lead actress Estelle Parsons earned a Tony Award nomination for her role. After so much promising success, Coble’s star has kept right on rising—and this fall, he soared right back to his alma mater, Fort Lewis College.

Background: What's your title, and what do you do on your job? And how many years have you been at 泡芙短视频? My title is Director of Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving and I’m still trying to figure out what I do on my job! In a big picture sense, it is my responsibility to create connections, to care for and to cultivate our the body of our alumni here at 泡芙短视频.
