ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ

We use two main event calendars at ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ:

1. SkyHub

is our student-led calendar for student-focused events.
To submit an event: Contact nmanning@fortlewis.edu to register your organization.

2. 25Live

is used by faculty, staff, and the ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ/Durango community.
To submit an event: Use 25Live to reserve space on campus. If marked “open to the public,” your event will appear on the calendar once approved.

Off-campus promotion

To reach a broader audience, add your event to community calendars such as KSUT, the Durango Area Tourism Office, and Visit Durango.

We send our weekly event email, Bulletin Board, to students every Friday morning. If your event meets the posting requirements and is submitted to or by Thursday, it will be included.

Events eligible for Bulletin Board:

• Campus-wide events
• Community events for ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ students
• Lectures and guest speakers
• Departmental activities

Events not included:

• Events not open to the public
• Repeated events
• Club meetings
• Tabling

Since a link to your event is always included, we do not send corrections or updates after the email goes out. If you need to announce a change, please use ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ Announce.

Follow these steps to create flyers for your next event:

1. Create: from the Marketing & Communication Department’s asset system. Templates are in PowerPoint for easy editing. You can also design flyers and social media graphics at .
   1. Include the ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ shield logo, preferred logo, or your department wordmark somewhere on your flyer
   2. Including QR codes allows people to RSVP or find more information about the hosting department or event.
2. Distribute: Plan to send or post materials at least two weeks before your event.
   • Printed flyers: Stamp your flyer at the Student Union Information Desk to post it on campus bulletin boards marked for "open posting."

Instagram: Tag @FortLewisCollege or email graphics to fvanbrunschot@fortlewis.edu to promote your event on the ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ official account. If you tag us on Instagram Stories during your live events, we can also repost your stories.

Instagram story graphics should be 1080x1920 vertical.

Facebook: Create a Facebook event and invite ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ as a co-host for additional event promotion.

Facebook event headers should be 1920x1080 horizontal.

Digital promotions on social media do not need the ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ logo or QR codes included.

Promote your event on the Student Union TV screens. Graphics for the displays should be 1920x1080 horizontal, PDF, PNG, or JPG format (under 1,000 KB).
